Barking and Dagenham Council has completed the implementation of a new enterprise resource planning system.

It has begun to use the InConcert ERP for finance, HR, payroll and planning following a 16-month implementation. Developed by Moore Insight, the solution includes iTrent software from MHR for HR and payroll and Advanced E5 for financials, and is being used to support the council’s back office transformation programme.

Cllr Dominic Twomey, Barking and Dagenham’s deputy leader and cabinet member for finance and growth, said: “We knew in December 2020, when we awarded the contact for these new systems that we had an ambitious programme.

“I really believe that we now have a modern platform to match our core ambitions and we can build on what we have implemented to really change the way we work for the better.”
