Cabinet Office joint venture with Capita sets up Resilia portfolio to spread best practice

Axelos has stepped into the field of cyber resilience with the publication of a best practice portfolio which emphasises the role of employees in an organisational strategy.

Named Resilia, it comprises publications, training and awareness tools to instil recognised best practice in cyber resilience into existing management systems. It also provides a pathway tool to assess cyber resilience maturity, awareness learning for staff and tools for leadership teams to make raise awareness among senior executives.

It is the latest initiative from the joint venture between the Cabinet Office and Capita that was set up in 2013 to promote best pactice in IT management. It runs a number of best practice frameworks including ITIL for IT service management and PRINCE2 for project management, and earlier this year added to former with a qualification for ITIL practitioners.

The new portfolio includes a best practice guide aligned with ITIL.

Axelos CEO Peter Hepworth said: “Cyber crime is increasingly recognised as one of the most serious risks to a strong global economy, market reputations and to national security. Resilia provides pragmatic advice, equipping people with the knowledge and confidence to act on cyber security risks, helping organisations maintain reputation, customer confidence and operational stability in the face of increasing cyber threat.”
