Ards and North Down Borough Council has signed up to the GOSS Content CMS.
It is replacing its existing content management system in line with developing a new website on the GOSS platform, and will have the facility to use the company’s Expansion modules as required to build a wider range of digital services.
The company said the modular nature of the platform enables local authorities to procure only the specific elements they need initially, then expand by acquiring others. This can underpin an ‘invest to save’ procurement model.
Ards and North Down covers an area in the east of Northern Ireland with 164,000 residents.
