Angus Council has selected cloud and managed services company Maintel to deploy a new communications platform.

The company will deliver and manage a cloud solution from RingCentral that it said will provide for easier and more efficient communication with local services.

It said the solution will provide security for personal data and support the future integration of new features and emerging technologies. Among the features are team messaging, file sharing, task management and video meetings.

Alistair McLeod, team leader of innovation, digital enablement and IT at Angus Council, commented: “This solution will enable us to connect with our local community and engage with residents on their channel of choice. By partnering with RingCentral, Maintel is helping us transform how our team communicates both with service users and each other, and all within our budget.”
