Adur and Worthing Councils have agreed a five-year partnership with Civica to use its cloud HR and Payroll software.
It will be used to create one integrated system with all data and request forms in a single place.
The software provides managers with self-service functions and will enable more central collation of data.
Keziahh Chandler, digital programme manager at Adur and Worthing Councils said: “As our council evolves and local government budgets remain tight, it’s vital that we put in place organisational digital systems which are future proofed, flexible and cost effective.
“As we continue to work during Covid-19, it’s even more important for our staff to have transparent, accessible systems and we take a people-first approach. We are looking forward to working with Civica as our partner to provide an efficient, accurate and secure people system for all our employees and managers.”
The contract is the second significant digital deal involving Adur and Worthing, which share a joint management team, this week. They have signed another five-year contract with MLL Telecom to provide a managed full fibre network.
