Lucy Cassidy, advanced practice physiotherapist at Brighton and Sussex University Hospital Trust, talks about development of its virtual fracture clinic.
She hopes that freely sharing the resources and toolkits developed during the project with other trusts may help deliver savings – as well as an improved patient service - across the NHS. Sharing information and not re-inventing the wheel, says Cassidy, is the only way to get out of the financial crisis and improve patient services on a mass scale.
